  • The Pandora Short Film Grant is open to all US filmmakers. The Grant is for narrative short films only (no documentaries please). We accept films at any stage of production—whether you just have a script or are in post-production seeking finishing funds.
  • We take your privacy very seriously. Your data is never shared and submitted materials are never shared outside of our organization. There are zero ownership rights conferred to us for anything you submit or send to us.
  • Grant funding is conditional upon the selected recipient going into production on the project within twelve (12) months of when the Grant was awarded.
  • The application will be easier to fill out on a desktop (not a mobile device).

Explain the status of your film i.e. have you done any pre-production? Have you already shot some or all of it and are in post-production? Just have a script and a vision? No wrong answer, we just wanna know where you’re at.

Your film:

Scripts aren’t required but highly recommended. Attach any and all documentation to show us your vision i.e. script, lookbook, pitch deck, budget, logistical plans, locations, shoot schedule, casting plans, attached crew members and filmmakers, etc. The more thoroughly you can communicate how you will execute your film, the better. You can attach these items as PDF’s or provide links to Google Docs, etc. If you’ve already shot your movie and are seeking finishing funds, links to footage will help immensely. Please provide a brief explanation of the documents/links you have provided and any passwords required to view the items
