Logline
When a young man is called home to care for his ailing father, he must confront three generations of malevolent expectations before it’s too late.
Synopsis
Cascarrabias was shot on 16mm film on location in Ignacio’s hometown of El Paso, TX at the end of 2024. This project is a testament to the stories from ‘la frontera’ that are often overlooked and whose inter-cultural themes offer a unique take on masculinity. The team has recently added an editor and is hoping to finish this film by the spring of 2025.
